ANDREW John Robert (Specs) (10 April 1995 Aged 54)

Specs joined 14 Field Regiment RAA in September 1959. On the winding up of National Service, 14 Field Regiment was absorbed into 7 Field Regiment on 6 May 1960 and became Q Battery and then renamed 27 Battery in 1964.

On the closing of the Marrickville Depot in 1969, John transferred with the Battery to Willoughby, later transferring to HQ Battery.

Later Specs transferred to 2 Training Group where he took his discharge as a Sergeant in 1980.


John was on the Committee of the Association during 1987-88.  


ARLINGTON Michael Sven   RFD ( 26 June 1992 -Aged 48)


Michael was appointed a Lieutenant in the RAAMC (UNSWR) on 1 Jan 1965 and later served for nine years in the ARA before transferring to the ARES .


He served with 1 Field Ambulance and was RMO of 7 Field Regiment from Nov 1976 to May 1979 before serving in various other medical appointments.


At the time of his death he was a Lieutenant Colonel, in the position of SO1 (Health) Medical HQ 2MD.
